My Natural Medicine Cabinet

If I could pick a Top 10 List of items for must haves in my natural medicine cabinet, these would be my favorites.  But there were so many great items to pick from that I decided I couldn’t stop there.   So here goes My Top 10 List and More:

1. Apple Cider Vinegar – I have already talked extensively to the importance of ACV, but if you missed my post, check it out here.  ACV heals and regulates the gut’s pH, increases fertility, helps diabetes, skin issues, burns, blood pressure, gout, mastitis, yeast, weight loss and much more.  This should definitely be sitting in the cabinet.
2. Penetrex  is used for the treatment of inflammation related ailments including: Arthritis, Bursitis, Carpal Tunnel, Tennis Elbow, Golfer’s Elbow, Gout (also: cherries breaks down uric acid), Plantar Fasciitis, Tendonitis and more.  It contains:  Vitamin B6, Arnica, MSM (DMSO), Cetyl Myristoleate, Shea Butter and Boswellia Serrata (Frankincense) which penetrates deep into the muscles, nerves, ligaments and tendons.  Also good for frostbite because of the DMSO…A must have!!  In Dr. David William’s book, “DMSO, The complete Up-to-Date Guidebook” (1993), he writes this:
3. “DMSO’s first major use was to act as a type of antifreeze to preserve tissue. Keeping this in mind, it should come as no surprise that it can perform miracles on frostbitten tissue. In one animal study, if DMSO was applied prior to the tissue freeze, damage was practically nonexistent. Amazingly, humans using DMSO up to 24 hours after the freeze showed total recovery without any gangrene or necessity for amputation. DMSO should be applied within 12-24 hours of the freezing, however, it works even better if applied before freezing. A 70-90% solution seems to work best prior to a freeze. In acute incidents when it is necessary to apply the DMSO after the freeze, a soak may be indicated.”  [Disclaimer:  Use caution and those who have kidney or liver issues, consult your physician first.]
4. Frankincense – This essential oil has incredible healing qualities with science behind it.  Check out my links on Breast Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Epileptic seizures, gastro issues and more.  Do your own research and you will understand why this is also a must have in your natural medicine cabinet.
5. Hydrogen Peroxide – In my post, 70 Uses of Hydrogen Peroxide, you will learn that this product is also a necessity.  It helps everything from gingivitis, gangrene, to foot fungus; and it can be used as a disinfectant, drain cleaner (with baking soda, vinegar) or just put into humidifiers to breathe easier.
6. Queen’s Magic Bee Pollen because it includes Propolis (studies) and Royal Jelly (studies).  See my post here which lists the MANY benefits of bee pollen.  This product can be especially beneficial for people who suffer outdoor allergies. 
7. Coconut Oil – There are tons of uses of coconut oil, but Alzheimer’s symptoms have been documented to improve for many people who use coconut oil.  See my post here which mentions the new study being conducted out of the University of South Florida.  Other uses include:  digestion, lowers cholesterol, immune support, blood pressure stabilizer, ringworm, thyroid, pulling toxins (see post), skin and much more. 
8. Heart Support – I have written specifically on: CoQ10,  Olive Leaf Extract,  Hawthorn Berry or Crown of Thorns Extract, and  L-Arginine, which increases Nitric Oxide.  Each has its own purpose, but they are all excellent for the heart.  Always consult your physician first.
9. Oil of Oregano – This is a very strong antimicrobial oil and good for so many things including: warts, viruses, abscesses, H1N1, fungus, toe nail fungus, salmonella,  yeast, staph, molds, E. coli, tonsillitis, food poisoning, croup, dermatitis, parasites, cold sores, canker sores (Also: Cod Liver Oil), food poisoning (including pets but dosage different), urinary and bladder infection, spider bites, snake bites, liver cell damage, poison ivy, diabetes and more . See the book, The Cure is in the Cupboard. *Do not use if you have high blood pressure.  Be careful to read the directions.
10. Essiac Tea for cancer and detoxing  – The Flor Essence Company  now markets and has the rights to the original herbal formula that was passed down by the Ojibwa Indian Tribe in Canada to Rene Caisse. It was said by President Kennedy’s personal physician himself, Dr. Charles Brusch that, “The results we obtained with thousands of patients of various races, sexes, and ages, with all types of cancer, definitely prove Essiac to be a cure for cancer.  All studies done in four laboratories in the United States and one or more in Canada fortify this claim.”   This tea is said to have great benefit to detoxify and heal the body of many diseases, possibly including Alzheimer’s, allergies, angiogenesis, CANCER, diabetes, MS, Parkinson’s, Hepatitis C and more.  The Essiac Report documents the effect on numerous patients, all reporting symptom improvement.  This tea is a combination of the root of the Burdock plant, Sheep Sorrel plant, the inner bark of the Slippery Elm tree and the roots of the Turkey Rhubarb plant.  See this incredible video. More is written in my post on Cancer Cures. Flor Essence can also be used with pets.
11. Silver Sol for EBOLA, MRSA, Malaria, HIV, H1N1, Influenza, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.  – According to multiple sources, Nano Silver fights multiple infections.  Nano Silver or Silver Sol is a new anti-microbial solution composed of 0.001% elemental silver (10 parts per million) and 99.999% pure water. It should not be confused with colloidal silver.  It is available here.   The makers of Silver Sol, American Biotech Labs say that from their research their product can remove the malaria parasite and the subject can be completely healed of this virus in 5 days!   The results of another study indicate that twice-daily treatment with silver sol gel (spray form) and twice-daily oral ingestion of liquid Silver Sol significantly improved treatments of hospital acquired MRSA infections in human subjects. Read more here.  Dr. Rima E.  Laibow has identified a 2009 Department of Defense study involving Nano Silver (10 ppm) entitled, “Nano Silver Inhibits Ebola Virus,”   which claims Nano Silver inhibits this terrible virus.  Nano Silver is also a great wound healing agent. 
12. Non – GMO food – Okay, so this is hard to fit in a medicine cabinet I know, but if you eat and use organic, you are less likely to need help from the medicine cabinet or the services of a health care professional if you do eat them. Check out my post on GMOs and the video on The Seeds of Death.  Also impressive is the documentary Forks Over Knives. which I write about in my post, whose study looked at Norway during WWII when the Nazis came and occupied their country; they seized all cattle, pigs, and sheep from the Norwegians to feed the German army. During these years of occupation, the Norwegians were forced into a whole food, plant-based diet. Heart disease and cancer in the Norwegians plummeted. When the war was over and meat and dairy were re-introduced into their diets, these diseases returned.  Fruit and vegetable powder to put in smoothies is an excellent way to get all your fruits and vegetables and more of a plant-based diet. Eatwild’s Directory of Farms also lists more than 1,400 pasture-based farms. It is a comprehensive source for grass-fed meat and dairy products in the United States and Canada. Products include: Beef,Pork, Lamb, Veal, Goat, Elk, Venison, Yak, Chickens, Ducks, Rabbits, Turkeys, Eggs, Milk, Cheeses, Wild-Caught Salmon and more!
13. Dr. Willard’s Water for burns, wound healing, dermatology, natural fertilizer, emphysema and much more.  See this video that was featured on 60 Minutes.  It is available directly or on Amazon. The pH of this water is 12.3.  Active Ingredients:  CAW Micelle Water 99.3%, Sodium Metasilicate 87.5%, Sulfated Castor Oil 11.5%, CAW Micelle 0.39, Refined Lignite 0.23%, Calcium Chloride 0.4%,Magnesium Sulfate 0.4%. Willard Water is a very dilute solution containing the above electrolytes and “a catalyst that alters the structure of water, making water behave in a manner that heretofore has not been reported in the literature” as stated by Dr. Willard. Willard Water has been tested and analyzed by reputable laboratories, including the FDA, “and ALWAYS found to be non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-mutagenic, and non-carcinogenic.  Willard Water is not a nutrient, but a vehicle or catalyst by which nutrients are carried throughout the body’s cells, and by which waste is carried away from the cells with water as a means of transportation.”  [The reported uses of Willard Water are printed in the US Government Printing Office Committee Publication #96-240: A Briefing on Catalyst Altered Water by the Subcommittee on Health and Long Term Care of the Select Committee on Aging, U.S. House of Representatives, 96th Congress Second Session, July 7, 1980, Rapid City, South Dakota.  Here is the latest scientific analysis of Willard’s Water.  *Precaution should be taken as Willard’s Water is a catalyst.  Taking it along side medication or vitamins could change the body’s reaction.
14. Gelatin is collagen and is great for arthritic joints, brittle hair and nails, scoliosis, torn ligaments, weight gain,wrinkles, and is an excellent source of protein.  Great Lakes Gelatin is a great choice and they are one of the only companies still in the US who make it.  I actually interviewed them and their gelatin comes from cattle that are raised in South America who are fed non-GMO grass.  They have two versions of gelatin, one for smoothies and one to use in cooking. Also there is a Kosher version. 15. Trican for cancer support – “TRICAN ultra is a nutritional supplement and powder put out by the Budwig Center “that literally shocks the body’s autonomous nervous system with high doses of natural minerals, hormones, botanicals, collagen, natural occurring chemicals ( more than 60 chemicals that occur in the human body), amino acids and Vitamin E and D, etc.  Upon nutritional correction, the body resumes correct DNA instructions leading to healthy normal cell production. When the body’s environmental factors are correct, the body no longer manufactures the diseased cells, and the existing diseased cells die in a natural manner and are eventually replaced by normal cells.”  See more information and testimonials here.  (Included: irradicating cancer tumors and other ailments.) 
16. Activated Charcoal for food poisoning and is as an emergency decontaminant in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, which includes the stomach and intestines. Activated charcoal is considered to be the most effective single agent available. It is used after a person swallows or absorbs almost any toxic drug or chemical.  It is estimated to reduce absorption of poisonous substances nearly 60%.  According to Natural News, activated charcoal can also be used to “build your own makeshift water filtration system using a 5-gallon bucket, a few pounds of pebbles and some clean sand. First, drill a hole in the bottom of a bucket / pail, then fill the bucket’s bottom section with several inches of small pebbles. Then place a fine screen (made from a polymer material is best) on top of the rocks. This is to prevent the charcoal from running out between the pebbles. Then pack in several inches of activated charcoal powder on top of the screen. Top that off with at least six inches of clean sand and cover it with a cloth. Pour the water directly onto the cloth and it will filter down through the sand, the charcoal and the pebbles. You’ve got a makeshift gravity water filter!”
17. Aloe Vera  “is said to be one of the finest body cleansers, cleaning morbid matter from the stomach, liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, and is considered the finest, known colon cleanser. Studies have shown that it is healing and soothing in the relief of indigestion, stomach distress, ulcers and even cancer. People claim relief from arthritis, bladder and kidney infections; leg cramps, constipation, hemorrhoids, insomnia, and for vaginitis.” (herbwisdom.com).  Aloe produces two substances, gel and latex that are used for medicines. Aloe gel is the clear, jelly-like substance found in the inner part of the aloe plant leaf and is preferred. Aloe latex comes from just under the plant’s skin and is yellow in color and is said to be an irritant.  There are over 500 species of this plant, but I prefer the aloe barbadensis which has polymannans.It has also been reported to help with bowel diseases such IBS and colitis as well as inflammation.  According to Serovera,  “Aloe Mucilaginois Polysaccharides (AMP) are long chain sugar molecules composed of individual mannose and glucose sugar molecules connected together.”  They claim that Aloe mucilaginous polysaccharide is the sole ingredient responsible for all the healing properties attributed to Aloe. There are all kinds of variations for sale like capsules, juice, etc. and some are quite expensive.  Why not buy a leaf at the grocery store instead? Ingredients

1. Favorite juice (100% All Natural), Great Lakes Gelatin, Honey

Instructions

1. Combine 1 cup of your favorite juice together with 4 TBSP of honey in a pan. Stir and simmer over the stove together. Do NOT boil. Add 7 TBSP of all natural Great Lakes Unflavored Gelatin and mix quickly until dissolved. Pour into your favorite mold and freeze.

1. This is a great healthy snack for kids. For adults, put into glass dessert cups and serve. This is also a great recipe to add in your favorite remedies such as vitamin powders, probiotics and more.
