How healthy are you really? How about taking a Health and Wellness Assessment? You can evaluate your own health just by using several simple health tools. Below are just a few charts and simple assessments to help you determine what your health quotient really is. A lot of times we are told that our blood pressure or blood sugar are too high, but where do we fall on the scale? And more importantly, what can we do about it? I try to take some of the mystery out, I hope it helps.
- Blood Pressure
- Blood Sugar
- Body Mass Index
- Maximum Heart Rate – highest heart rate an individual can achieve without severe problems through exercise.
- Minimum Heart Rate in exercise – lowest heart rate an individual can benefit when exercising.
- Health and Wellness Personal Assessment
- Health Plan Going Forward

These short health and wellness assessments are only the beginning. As I have already mentioned, what we do about our health or lack of is what’s most important. This website is all about health and if you look carefully, you may find answers to some of your questions.
A body mass index (BMI) of 18.5 to 24.9 is considered healthy.
A person with a BMI of 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight,
and a person with a BMI of 30 or more is considered obese.
Heart Rate in Exercise
How to determine your MAXIMUM HEART RATE (MHR) in exercise:
- 220 – your age = Your MAXIMUM HEART RATE
How to determine your MINUMUM HEART RATE in exercise:
- Your MAXIMUM HEART RATE x .50 = Your Minimum Heart Rate
How to determine you 10-second target heart rate:
- Divide your Minimum Heart Rate by 6

Here are some suggestions to get started TODAY:

- Cut out soda and drink herbal teas, filtered water instead with lemon.

- Neutralize your pH with apple cider vinegar.
- Make a daily smoothie with fruits, vegetables, perhaps a protein powder AND an omega-3 source.
- Every day take a strong probiotic for the gut.
- Get a good multi vitamin. Consider other super food supplements.
- Exercise, however that looks like for you.
- Get a massage or visit the chiropractor to help release toxins.
- Take salt baths or soaks. Consider essential oils.
- Do a detox regimen to get rid of toxins such as Flor Essence. (Read more about cancer and Flor Essence here.)
- Get more sleep and try to reduce stress.
- Use spices in your food daily.
