Many of us want to be healthy, but we just don’t know where to begin. Well to make this as easy as possible, I have condensed HEALTHY LIVING into 7 HEALTHY LIVING Essentials. No, this list is not an all-inclusive list, but it is a start. Just by being here and reading this means that you want a healthier lifestyle, so kudos to you! Remember that eating and living healthy has to be a lifestyle change. Now you don’t have to do it all right away, but doing any one of them is a start to better health. I started my own journey just doing one thing at a time and the more I did it, the more I wanted to do more. It has now become something that my entire family is embracing even though at first they all thought “mom was crazy“.
So here are my seven steps that I hope will help you as it has helped our family:
- Let your food be your medicine. Nutrition in the body can always be improved. Eat more FRUITS and VEGETABLES. No GMOs. If you’re not sure what those are, check this out. Stay away from soda, sugar and processed food as much as possible and make a daily smoothie! I now replace my breakfast with a protein smoothie everyday filled with non-gmo ingredients. It helps me get my daily vitamins in a less painful way. I also add spices, organic yogurt, olive oil, liquid vitamin D and more!
- Detoxify – Consider anti-microbial therapies which address unseen parasites, fungus, viruses, bacteria. I write more about why it is SO important here. Most people think that they don’t have parasites and all the gross stuff, but think again and detoxify!
- Balance your energy by massage, acupuncture, sleep, balanced hormones, oxygenation of all cells and more. Here is some Sound Therapy to help you get started. Balanced hormones are vital to health, so this should be addressed in the beginning or there is a good chance cancer could come around. Reduce your stress as well. I know that this is easier said then done, but check out my post on Meditation for Health.
- Heal your emotional wounds – LET GO of the past, forgive and understand the relationship between one’s emotional well being and biological conflict. Resolution and release is a requirement for good physical and mental health. Read my post if you want to learn more about How to Start to Forgive.
- Look at biological dentistry – metal toxicity affects us and causes disease. Read more about the dangers of metal in your mouth on this site and what it has to do with your health.
- Optimize your immune system – Use herbs, vitamins, supplements, organic teas and spices that can reduce your toxic load. Like I mentioned earlier, it is impossible today to get everything we need in one meal. That is why we need to supplement with whole foods. Getting back to eating like our parents and grandparents will do us all a bit better. However, they did not have to deal with GMOs like we do. Our job to stay healthy is becoming more and more difficult each day as more and more foods are becoming genetically modified. Shop organic when possible.
- Prevention is Better Than Cure – I think most of us agree that prevention is better than trying to cure ourselves from cancer. Do all of the above and use non-toxic therapies when possible. There are many alternative therapies out there that I believe work. Check out The Truth About Cancer. This is a wonderful site with doctors from around the world that fight cancer naturally. Monitor your health with good technology: Thermography is great technology for breast cancer. Check to see if your hospital is using this scan. Other tests may include: HCG hormones Cancer profile, PHI hormones for malignancy, TKI enzyme.
